Steven M. Fendley, M.D.

Originally a native of Auburn, AL, Steven M. Fendley, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Auburn University, graduating Cum Laude. He then completed his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He finished in 1989, completing his internship and residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center and was awarded Outstanding Student in Surgery. Dr. Fendley is a General Surgeon in Dothan, AL and the Senior Partner of Wiregrass Surgical Associates.
Dr. Fendley is certified by the American Board of Surgery and currently an active member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Houston County Medical Society. He is affiliated with both Flowers Hospital and Dothan Surgery Center.
He and his wife, Joyce Fendley, have two daughters, one attending Auburn University and the other attending the University of Alabama. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, fly fishing, playing the guitar and traveling. Dr. Fendley is dedicated to his patients and continually strives to provide superior patient care by offering the latest advantages in technology, accompanied by compassion and commitment.
